Last night, as I was watching The Incredibles (which is absolutely stellar compared to some of the work put out by Hollywood in the last year), I came to some important revelations about the webcomic I want to do. Not only did I come up with some ideas that will translate well to comic format, but I think I may have also found solutions to the many problems my senior project story had in the first place. The best part about it is that I’m really excited to get started on it now, even with the million other projects I’m juggling.
My main concern with this is and will probably always be that I’m not even close to talented as an artist (and by that, I mean at drawing). I’m afraid that may get in the way of the storytelling. I certainly hope not, and this sort of thing will force me to practice the aspects of drawing that I’m not very good at, but that might be the end result. I’ll have to see.
